Since I used scraps of velcro it looks crappy...would turn out 100000x better with new velcro, this is also my 1st crude attempt just to see how it would look.  Cheesy

Those are nice. I know that if you get some new velcro from walmart you can fix those up really nice. Dummy IR? I get what you mean, but they don't have to be IR, I'd actually use those. Good job man.

Homemade using 3M reflective tape. This is the same one, reversible.

As you probably guessed, these aren't for military applications as they are reflective to visible light and not IR light.

Sadly I'm not in Utah but in Canuckistan Tongue

It was pretty easy. I did them in Photoshop using the Arial font, printed it on "professional photo paper" (found in any Staples or Walmart) and then cut it using an exacto. The professional photo paper is mandatory as standard paper would loose its coloration under rain or heavy humidity.

I then put spray-on glue on the back of the ID that I had now cut and pressed it against the reflective tape.

Finally, I took 2 inch velcro, cut a hole in the middle and glued it against the ID.

Did that twice and finished it by gluing them back to back. Voilą!
